Convocation Ceremony of BPCL-Sponsored Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) for SC/ST Youth – Noida, Delhi (May–June 2026)

The HPSEWA Women Entrepreneurs Foundation proudly celebrated the successful completion of the
Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) for SC/ST Youth with a grand Convocation and
Certificate Distribution Ceremony held on 6 June 2026. Sponsored by
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
initiative and organized in association with the BPC SC/ST Employees Association, the programme
concluded on a memorable and inspiring note, marking the beginning of a new entrepreneurial journey
for every participant.
Distinguished Dignitaries
The convocation ceremony was graced by
Mr. Sanjay Sachdeva, Head – Human Resources Services (HRS), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL),
along with other distinguished officials from BPCL. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sachdeva congratulated
the participants on their dedication, enthusiasm, and successful completion of the intensive 15-day
training programme. He encouraged the aspiring entrepreneurs to apply the knowledge and skills acquired
during the programme to establish sustainable enterprises and contribute meaningfully to India’s
economic growth.
The ceremony was also attended by the Founder Members of
HPSEWA Women Entrepreneurs Foundation, whose unwavering guidance, mentorship, and encouragement
played a significant role throughout the programme:

Celebrating Success and New Beginnings
The highlight of the convocation was the
Certificate Distribution Ceremony, during which every participant was felicitated for successfully
completing the Entrepreneurship Development Programme.
Each participant received:
- Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) Completion Certificate
- MSME Entrepreneurship Development Certificate
- A specially designed HPSEWA Women Entrepreneurs Foundation commemorative backpack featuring the BPCL logo, presented as a cherished memento of their entrepreneurial journey and the memories created during the programme.
The presentation of certificates and commemorative backpacks symbolized not only the successful
completion of the programme but also the beginning of a lifelong journey of innovation, leadership,
entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
A Transformative Learning Experience
During the 15-day residential programme, participants underwent intensive training covering
entrepreneurship development, business planning, financial management, government schemes,
MSME support, digital marketing, legal and regulatory compliance, communication skills,
and enterprise management.
Interactive sessions conducted by successful entrepreneurs, industry experts, bankers,
MSME professionals, and experienced mentors provided participants with practical insights
into establishing and managing successful enterprises. The programme empowered them with
the confidence, knowledge, and entrepreneurial mindset required to transform innovative
ideas into sustainable businesses.
Heartwarming Feedback from Participants
One of the most memorable and emotional moments of the convocation was the
participant feedback session, where attendees shared their experiences and expressed heartfelt
gratitude for the opportunity.
Many participants stated that they had joined the programme with dreams but limited direction
and were leaving with renewed confidence, practical knowledge, and a clear roadmap for
establishing their own enterprises. Several described the programme as a life-changing
experience, appreciating not only the quality of training but also the personalized mentorship,
continuous guidance, and encouragement they received throughout the journey.
Participants expressed their sincere gratitude to

for aspiring entrepreneurs. Many became emotional while sharing how the programme had

The atmosphere was filled with smiles, applause, gratitude, and a strong sense of belonging
as participants reflected on the friendships they had built, the knowledge they had gained,

A Memorable Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony was a remarkable celebration of achievement, inspiration, and hope.
Participants, BPCL officials, mentors, and Founder Members of the HPSEWA Women Entrepreneurs
Foundation came together to commemorate the successful completion of the programme through
certificate presentations, group photographs, meaningful interactions, and heartfelt conversations.
As participants received their certificates and commemorative backpacks, the venue resonated
with applause, appreciation, and words of encouragement. The event concluded with a sincere
Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL),
the BPC SC/ST Employees Association, distinguished resource persons,
mentors, the organizing committee, and every participant whose enthusiasm, commitment,
and active participation contributed to the programme’s outstanding success.
Although the training programme formally concluded, it marked the beginning of a lasting
relationship between the participants and the Foundation. The bonds formed during these
fifteen days, the knowledge shared, and the experiences gained will continue to inspire
every participant as they embark on their entrepreneurial journey.
