First Out-of-Maharashtra Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) by HPSEWA WEF
In July 2022, the HPSEWA Women Entrepreneurs Foundation (HPSEWA WEF) successfully conducted its first Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) outside Maharashtra in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in collaboration with GAIL (India) Limited, the organizing partner for the program.
This intensive 15-day Entrepreneurship Development Program was designed for SC/ST youth from across India, with the objective of fostering entrepreneurship, promoting self-employment, and enhancing economic empowerment among aspiring entrepreneurs from marginalized communities.
As the execution partner, HPSEWA WEF played a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and delivering the comprehensive training program. The foundation structured and facilitated sessions covering key areas such as entrepreneurship fundamentals, financial literacy, business documentation and compliance, business planning, and leadership development.
The program attracted participants from multiple states, creating a diverse and inclusive learning environment that encouraged idea exchange, confidence building, and entrepreneurial thinking.
This initiative marked a significant milestone for HPSEWA WEF, expanding the foundation’s presence beyond Maharashtra and demonstrating its capability to successfully implement national-level entrepreneurship development initiatives in partnership with leading public sector organizations.
Through this program, HPSEWA WEF reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive growth and its mission to empower youth by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to pursue entrepreneurship as a sustainable career pathway.
